Developing the pipeline of technology talent is critical to ensuring the continuation of advancements and is a major concern amongst business leaders. One way technology leaders can contribute to building up the talent pipeline is to share fun, affordable, and educational resources with young students interested in STEM careers. The Forbes Technology Council interviewed fourteen tech leaders, including Patrick Emmons, Founder and CEO of DragonSpears, to ask them for suggestions on resources for students interested in the technology industry.
Patrick recommends the Air Force Association’s Cyberpatriot Program for students interested in cybersecurity. It's designed to inspire K-12 students to explore careers in cybersecurity and other STEM disciplines that are critical to our future.
“Cybersecurity is the hottest tech field, with the most potential growth,” says Patrick.
