The Forbes Technology Council interviewed 16 members to share some of the biggest software development challenges amongst development teams. Amongst the panel, Patrick Emmons, Founder and CEO of DragonSpears mentions the importance of raising the flag when issues arise.
Patrick says, “The value stream of any product pipeline depends on people ‘pulling the Andon Cord’ when there is an issue instead of just moving things along.” The ability to explicitly express an issue allows the software team to “figure out what is wrong with the process versus dealing with bugs in production.”
